Entering into His Presence

Hello to you all my avid readers!  I went missing for awhile but i just could not let September pass by without me sharing something with you. September will be coming to an end soon, it has been a fruitful month full of changes. I have been stirring up some poetic pieces, not just for your reading pleasure but also to reveal what the Spirit of God has laid on my heart. Prayer is hard work and it forms a part of our labour process, to see the full birth of our blessings, breakthroughs and plans of God. Its left with a few days to the end of the month, push hard in prayer till you see something. Don't second guess yourself, your prayers are working powerfully and God is working on your behalf. If there is one thing I am learning in this season of my life is simply that God is fighting on my behalf even when I don't see it,feel it or even hear of it. God goes quiet all of a sudden and watching to see what you would do as you await His response. He goes quiet not because He doe...

With a heart of Gratitude!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well by the Grace and mercies of God,  God has been merciful and His goodness is always present with us, making us feel the warmth of His love. For some of us, August comes pregnant with great expectations and aspirations. We find ourselves highly motivated to push in prayer and keep focus on God’s promises! Although sometimes as we pursue the promises of God, it is not always easy to keep focus on God’s words irrespective of the circumstance that we are faced with. We keep praying and praying, looking to see a manifestation but it seems to be taking long and we wonder if God is really going to stick to His word. I understand very well how it feels like as I find myself in the same situation at times but today, God reminded me of something very powerful! It is something that we tend to easily forget when we grow weary in prayer and that is simply to cultivate a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving. Remind yourself of what God has done and ...

A Clarion Call!!!!

Image
These words were ministered to me during a prayer session and I felt strongly led to share with you all. Although it may be written in a poetic manner, i believe that God has a message for us. As the month rapidly draws to an end, God wants to make sure we get the very best out of it. We are in the seven month of the year and it is a strategic time of the year. The number seven signifies a break in a cycle, this is the time for the children of God to arise in prayer and leave no stone unturned!  Just as we see a caterpillar transform into a butterfly after hiding in the cocoon, God wants to see all His children transform beautifully in His Presence. Its  time for the Lord to unveil His children to the world, you have been waiting for too long: "For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore. But be happy and rejoice forevermore over what I am about to create! For look, I am ready to cr...

In the eyes of the Eagle (Part 2)

Image
Hello my dearest readers! Today our discovery of eagles continue as we come to the final part of this post. I got positive feedback from yesterday post and I am happy to know that you have all been blessed so far. Please keep the feedback coming, I really appreciate it....... The nature of the eagle is very admirable, unlike most species, they are picky about what they eat and don’t settle for dead food like vultures. They like to eat their food fresh which is quite unique to them. In life, you don’t have to just accept anything, God always wants the best for us and we must also desire to have same. Don’t just look at your present situation and decide to go along with whatever comes, have an eye for the good things that God wants you to have. You will see seek for the best things once you identify who you are and know how much you are worth to God. There are some people who live a life full of crazy adventures, no height or danger can intimidate them. Looking at the eagle, one...

In the eyes of the Eagle

Image
The Eagle is a majestic bird that takes kingship over the skies as it flies with authority and dominates on all levels. It carries an aura of freedom, justice and liberty, it is because of this that we find it used as a symbol for high levels of authority all over the world. All over the world, the Eagle is greatly admired by many for various reasons. According to Bird life International website, there are more than sixty species of Eagles which can be found in Eurasia and Africa.  Out of these specific areas, about two can be found in the United States and Canada, nine in Central and South America and three in Australia. An Eagle has very large hooked beaks for tearing apart the flesh of its prey along with muscular legs and powerful talons. They are well known for their sharp eye sight which enables them to see their prey from a very far distance. Their very large pupils equips them in their sharp vision. For some time now, I have felt the Lord beckoning me to take a close...

Familiarity, the blinding shield (Part 2)

As promised, I will continue on the topic of familiarity and how it works to affect relationships. I hope you have had time to mediate on yesterday’s post and it has set your mind on the right track. I pray that this final post, will set your mind at the place where God wants it to be and your relations with those around will begin to flourish…… Familiarity makes us take friendships for granted just because we know that we always have that person to lean or grab on for support, but then what happens when the person gets tired of it? They begin to feel the lack of appreciation and draw back, it is not the best situation because you could have missed a divine helper. I am not saying we should welcome every person that walks into our lives but we must be led by the Spirit of God and more importantly make sure that we treat them well. Wherever Elijah went and he was well honored, you would realize that he would release a great blessing upon the household. Familiarity never allows us t...

Familiarity, the unexpected blinder (Part 1)

"Though familiarity may not breed contempt, it takes off the edge of admiration ." William Hazlitt  Quotes Day in and day out, we are constantly meeting people and developing new friendships. In some situations, we make friends that stick around for a lifetime and others just simply pass through. Each person fulfills a purpose in your life, whether good or bad.  In those friendships where we find purpose, are we treating our friends well? Do we take time to appreciate our family members or even spouses? The issue of familiarity has been on my mind and it’s not just limited to friends but even family as well. It is sad that this issue plagues our society so much and has cause great family relationships, romantic relationships and friendships to fall apart. As I was thinking through this issue, I found that there are viable examples of the effects of familiarity which we could all learn from. Let us start from the story of David, the man who God found to be ple...

When I see the blood!

When I  see the blood   I am reminded of His sacrifice for me   I know it is only by His  Grace, made  evident through His Blood   His blood made me one with Him   Just  as a  Groom is made one with His Bride   My Jesus takes  Presidency over my life   I am His  VVIP,  By virtue of His blood shed for me   As He took the keys from the devil   Leaving Him whimpering in the shadows      The devil sought to sell me out on an  auction    Seeking the highest demonic b idder   As my sin made me vulnerable to his powers   But just when he thought he had me under his hold   My JESUS WALKED  in   UNLEASHING HIS BLOOD OVER MY LIFE   BREAKING ALL PROTOCOLS AND STRONGHOLDS   Cleansing me from the filth called Sin     Today, I  stand on a stronger foundation   C...
