Hello my dearest readers! Today our discovery of eagles continue as we come to the final part of this post. I got positive feedback from yesterday post and I am happy to know that you have all been blessed so far. Please keep the feedback coming, I really appreciate it.......
The nature of the eagle is very admirable, unlike most species, they are picky about what they eat and don’t settle for dead food like vultures. They like to eat their food fresh which is quite unique to them. In life, you don’t have to just accept anything, God always wants the best for us and we must also desire to have same. Don’t just look at your present situation and decide to go along with whatever comes, have an eye for the good things that God wants you to have. You will see seek for the best things once you identify who you are and know how much you are worth to God.
There are some people who live a life full of crazy adventures, no height or danger can intimidate them. Looking at the eagle, one can see its love to fly into high altitudes at a mind blowing ten thousand feet, such heights which beat our imagination. From great heights, there so much that one can see and hope to achieve. We have to desire to be high achievers in the kingdom of God because Our Father says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Remember that the sky is never the limit but the beginning of new heights of success and greatness!  In the bible, we realize that people always sought go up into high places just to commune with God, key examples are Moses, who communed with God on Mount Sinai where the Ten Commandments were birth forth. It is prayer, fasting, mediation and worship that allow our minds, heart and spirit to dwell in High Places with God to receive from Him. All this can only happen when you are focused on Him and Him alone. You have to decide to see Him and desire for His Will, it is only then that He can manifest Himself unto you!
By our human nature, we don’t like to come face to face with any form of contention. We enjoy being in a place of comfort but we forget that in life there will be speed bumps along the way. The trials and tests we face in life, it is not meant to break us but rather build us to be stronger individuals. In a bid to understand the nature of the Eagle better, I took some time to watch videos on them. While watching, I noticed that when Eagles sets it mind on a particular target, it is never intimidated by the size or number. It does not give up easily. There is a reason why the bible states this:
But those who wait for the Lord's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired. Isa 40:31
The eagle never gets tired in a battle or even in flight, they keep moving and pushing. This is the nature that God wants us to have. We have to able to maintain faith and set our eyes on a goal without being moved by the trials that came our way.  Don’t get tired or weary, I don’t know what you are trusting God for but I pray that you are able to maintain unshakable faith. God will give you the strength to stand and pass through successfully once you trust Him. The Eagle displays great strength in its talons as it is able to carry anything, no matter the height. I watched a video in which an eagle attacked a mountain goat and carried it away, now look at the size of the goat compared to the eagle. It is really amazing the way God created such animals but I believe there is something to be learnt here. No matter how big your dream or vision is, God has given you the ability to carry it and soar above greater heights that beat your imagination. You have to just allow Him to open your eyes and hold His hands tightly, He will never leave you hanging. God had great hopes for the Israelites when He handed over the promise land to them, but they thought they would get it on a silver platter. The moment they were faced with battles, they bolted and showed huge mistrust towards the same God who carried them safely through the red sea. Are you going to be crippled by fear because of the massive dream that God has given you? Or are you going to maintain a posture of faith and focus? The ball is in your court.
God has given you the tools needed to stand any battle, and it starts with your mouth. Remember the bible says that Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Activate the authority that God has given you to conquer any Goliath that comes your way. We hate stormy seasons because they hinder our ability to go about our daily activities but guess what? That is exactly what an Eagle loves! When other birds are seeking for shelter before the storm hits, the Eagle is flying through it. They have the ability to lock their wings in a fixed position in the midst of dangerous storms which allows them to glide higher without having to use their energy. The eagle expends no energy in the storm, and you also don’t have to because God is fighting for you and provides you with strength.  As a child of God, it is the Word of God that keeps you well positioned in the midst of the storm. The more you feed on the word, the more stable you are and the higher you move in God. There are lessons to be learnt in the midst of a trial, no matter how tough it is:
2 My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything. James 1:2-4
Focus your mind on God, no matter how tough or rough it gets. When your mind is set on God, you will realise that challenges and battles become easier to handle, you will reach that destination of glory in no time. Challenges only seem to last long when our minds are so fixated on the issues and not on God who can make things work out for our good. Psalm 84:5-6 can also be compared to Psalm 126; you may be in a tough position now that brings tears to your eyes but remember that soon, you walk into your harvest and it will seem like a dream!
What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings. Psalm 84:5-6
There are particular seasons that you go through in life, it’s very critical that you watch who you trust and even seek advice from! When the female eagle is in courtship with the male, she tests him by flying out with him and dropping a twig at different heights. His ability to retrieve this twig at various heights and bring it back to her, proves his real love and affection. Eagles are protective of their hearts, how much more human beings? Our heavenly Father, will test us even before He releases certain blessings, that’s exactly what He did with Abraham. He just wanted to see how much He could trust him. Be very discerning of the times and seasons you are in with God so that you don’t miss anything!
All too soon, the Eagle has landed and our post draws to an end but I do believe that you have been imparted with great knowledge that will help you to set your life as God desires it to be! Now you would agree with me that this bird is quite remarkable from all angles and God is indeed a master craftsman! I pray you take time to meditate on the lessons you have learnt and allow the Spirit of God to minister to you!
Once again, please don’t hesitate to leave comments or even send me an email on akua95ofori@gmail.com. God bless you!
