Part 2 : Is there hope in the valley?

Hello dear readers, Firstly I do apologize for the delay in the posting  this late, it was due to circumstances beyond my control. I do hope you were enlightened and blessed by the last post, please don't hesitate to share your views on the topic!

In our last post, we looked at Ezekiel 37 verse 1-14, which speaks of the encounter that Ezekiel had with the Lord in the valley of dry bones. It was a pivotal moment in which we came to understand the power of God's word in our lives. The valley also gives us a  powerful image of God , it tells us  that no matter how much we look down on ourselves in life, God is always looking to turn our stories around in life.

By virtue of the first declaration that Ezekiel made, God taught Ezekiel how to exercise authority through His Word over the situation. God could have spoken over the situation Himself  but He needed Ezekiel to recognize the spiritual authority in his mouth and exercise it effectively. God may place you in a wilderness situation which just does not make sense. It could be starting a business in a market that is highly competitive or people just don't have interest in it. Your human mind tells you that this will not work, the logistics its just overwhelming! So you want to push it aside and pick something easier but the Lord keeps nudging you to do it anyway. 

My dear one, God wants to push you into this new environment because He knows that He has fully equipped you take authority and push this vision to the next level! You just need to trust and follow His instructions just as Ezekiel. Everything works in a process and the instructions become clearer when you follow each one promptly! God gave Ezekiel the instructions, one step at a time just to show that God does not rush to do anything, He does this so that you will appreciate every moment that comes your way in life! And God does not speak His words in vacuum, there is always evidence to back up whatever He has said. It may not occur with immediate effect but it shall come to pass. I believe that Habakkuk 2:2-3 helped us to understand this part of God's work in our lives :"

 "Then the LORD said to me,

“Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time.It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,for it will surely take place.It will not be delayed."  . 

Even when you declare the Lord's word over your life and you don't see it at work immediately, just know that God is working behind the scenes and there shall be a performance!

After the bones and the flesh had come together, something was still missing as they weren't alive.  This is when Ezekiel was instructed by the Lord to call forth the four winds of the earth to breathe into the bodies. He did so and they came alive with immediate effect! When Ezekiel started the process with the Lord, He really did not know how things would turn out but He trusted God for the best. There is life in the word of God that even the world fails to give. Whatever you declare through His word comes to life. This just means that valley where you find yourself that seems so unfavourable, could it be that the Lord has whispered to you the words to speak over the situation? God will visit you wherever you are and give you that help you need but you need to see it and reach out for it. God will never lead you into a place or situation that He has not already catered for. There is hope in the valley, no matter how desolate or deserted it may be. God wants you to lifts you from where you are, and He will start from the unknown and carry you to the known! 

Ezekiel 37: 11-14- "Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, ‘We have become old, dry bones—all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.’ 12 Therefore, prophesy to them and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the LORD. 14I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the LORD has spoken!’”

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Lord is saying to His children today is that no matter how dead things may look, the Lord will show up to work on your behalf. You will come alive again and receive all you need to be propelled to the  next level. He will show up in your valley, which feels like your lowest point and give you a miracle that blows the minds of not just you but those around you! God wants to give you a miracle that will minister to many and manifest the power of His Word no matter the circumstance! Keep declaring the word that He has given you, He will stand on your words to perform great works! hasn't He said and won't He do it!!!Every good thing in your life, that seems lifeless, the Lord breathing freshness on to it. He will equip you to do exploits, just believe!
